Terms of Service

Last updated April 6, 2026

These Terms govern use of Hubb Invite, including event setup, guest uploads, invitation sending, and RSVP collection.

Acceptance

By accessing or using Hubb Invite, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the service.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement and may use Hubb Invite only for lawful personal or organizational event-planning purposes within Canada.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Host Obligations

When you use Hubb Invite as a host, you agree that:

  • You will upload only guest information that you have the legal right to use and disclose.
  • You are responsible for obtaining any consent or having any lawful basis required to send invitations, reminders, and related event communications.
  • You will keep your guest list and event information accurate and up to date.
  • You remain responsible for the content of messages you send through Hubb Invite, including any custom templates you create.

Acceptable Use

You may not use Hubb Invite to:

  • Send unsolicited, misleading, abusive, fraudulent, or unlawful communications.
  • Violate anti-spam, privacy, telecommunications, or consumer-protection laws, including CASL.
  • Upload malicious code, scrape the service, interfere with infrastructure, or attempt unauthorized access.
  • Use Hubb Invite for commercial spam, mass marketing, or non-event solicitation.

Hubb Invite may suspend or block accounts, messages, or content that we believe violate these Terms or create legal, security, or reputational risk.

Availability and Deliverability

Hubb Invite relies on third-party providers, including Twilio and SendGrid, to deliver SMS and email communications. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, message routing, or successful delivery to every recipient or device.

Message delivery may be affected by carrier filtering, recipient device settings, invalid contact details, provider outages, spam controls, or factors outside our reasonable control.

Termination

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Hubb Invite at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms, created legal or security risk, or used the service in a manner that could harm guests, other users, service providers, or Hubb Invite.

You may stop using the service at any time. Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.

Liability and Disclaimers

Hubb Invite is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and accuracy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hubb Invite will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, delivery failures, delayed messages, RSVP losses, event disruption, or guest-data issues arising from your use of the service or third-party provider failures.

If we are found liable despite the limitations above, our total liability for claims arising out of or related to Hubb Invite will be limited to one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100), because the service is currently offered free of charge.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict of laws principles. You agree that any dispute relating to Hubb Invite will be brought in the courts located in Ontario, Canada, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
