    A Catholic Mass with the full sacramental rites, including the lazo (a floral or rosary cord looped in a figure-8 around the couple), arras (13 gold coins), and the exchange of rings and vows. The church is adorned with elaborate floral arrangements.

  3. Reception (Fiesta de Bodas)

    A vibrant, multi-hour celebration with mariachi, a DJ, and dancing. Food: birria, mole negro, enchiladas, and a towering wedding cake. La Víbora de la Mar (human chain dance) and the bouquet toss are crowd favorites. Prepare to dance all night.
