Ho'okupu (Blessing Ceremony)
A traditional ceremony where both families and guests present offerings (ho'okupu) to the couple while a kahu (officiant) leads prayers. Lei are exchanged as symbols of love and respect.
Wedding Ceremony
Often held outdoors at sunrise or sunset on the ocean's edge. Traditional elements include conch shell calls, the untying of maile leis, and hula performances. The kahili (feathered standard) may stand as a symbol of honour.
Lu'au Reception
A traditional lu'au featuring kālua pork cooked in an imu (underground oven), poi, lomi salmon, and haupia (coconut pudding). Live Hawaiian music, hula, and fire knife dancing make this one of the most joyful receptions imaginable.
